We use this digital audio recorders for all of our investigations. We usually use them both actively with EVP sessions as well as leaving them alone isolated in rooms to pick up any anomalous sounds. The particular audio recorders we choose to use are nice because they all have USB connections on them which make it very easy to transfer their contents to a computer for analysis and evaluation. We also have recently started using custom built Faraday cages for our stationary recorders. This helps shield the recorders from picking up any outside RF interference. |

Playing Recorded Audio:
One of the experiements that we have be doing on investigations involves playing period specific music. We have a collection of different syles and genres of music catalogued by decade stored on the iPod. Based on the time periods of the location's history, we can try to play period-relevent music to stimulate any possible activity. |
